Get Ready to be Amazed – Really Amazed

I guarantee that if you don’t know about the Golden Ratio, when you learn about it you will think about it and remember it for the rest of your life. You will want to tell others about it.
Please follow steps 1-5 in order. It is best to look at the video (step 6) last.
1. Look at this sequence of numbers: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, 987
2. Get out your calculator,
3. Notice that each number is the sum of the two preceding it. i.e. 0+1=1, 1+1=2, 2+1=3, 3+2=5 and so on….
4. Notice that if you divide any number by its preceding number you get 1.6*
e,g, 21/13 = 1.62*
e.g. 8/ 5 = 1.60*
e.g. 987/610 = 1.62*
5, look at this shell. Note the spirals.
6. . Now watch this excellent video. It will blow your mind. Watch to the end.

Enjoy these photos taken this year Prof. CMcC. Bald Rock is 200 metres above the surrounding area and is about 750m long and 500m wide. The summit is 1277m. From the top the views are amazing.
The nearest town is Tenterfield, 27 km to the south.

Hi Groundhog at Lake George
I photographed this groundhog near the forest at Lake George USA today. Prof. Google has lots of interesting facts about them. They hibernate in winter for about 150 days during which time their heartbeat drops from about about 80 to 5 per minute and their breathing from from about both 16 breaths per minute to 2. And, their body temperature drops from about 99F. to 37F. Amazing.
Aesop in Africa: Unexpected Help
The Leopard and the Meerkat
One hot day in a remote area of the Kruger National Park in South Africa, a Leopard was enjoying a snooze under a huge marula tree. He had just dozed off when a passing Meerkat accidently brushed against him. The Leopard woke with a start, saw the Meercat and growled, “How dare you wake me! I am going to eat you!’
The terrified Meerkat pleaded, “Be kind! Don’t hurt me. One day I may repay your kindness.”
The Leopard laughed scornfully, “How can a tiny meerkat ever help a leopard? Be off with you!” And so, the Meerkat escaped.
A few days later the Leopard was caught in a net laid by hunters. Fearing the return of the hunters the Leopard screamed for help. Not far off the Meerkat heard the Leopard’s cries, found the Leopard and bit through the net and set the Leopard free.
Lesson: Never underestimate where you might find help in time of dire need.

The Caterpillar – let’s Salute it’s Maker
How beautifully made is the caterpillar! Prof. Google tells me there are around 4000 muscles in a caterpillar. The Creator of the caterpillar must be really smart! And us humans? Prof G says we have only about 650 muscles. Click here. To God be the glory.
