Early Morning Walk – Port Elizabeth, South Africa

A King Charles spaniel
I was quietly enjoying some seed. I got a fright. To get away quickly I lifted my wings up high and then pumped down. Hard. In the flash. I was away! The three pictures are stills from a slow motion video (set at 4K at 30 fps. 4K at 60 fps might have been better) taken with an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Thanks to my son in London for the “stills from video” tip. The looped video is at the bottom. In the video note how the bird at the top drops down and then takes off. Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

Thanks to LB for the wonderful pictures.

A wonderful cafeteria is in the crypt beneath the famous Church. Try it next time you are in London. You won’t be disappointed. The second photo below was taken in the cafeteria which is bigger than the photo suggests. There is an excellent gift shop next to the cafeteria. To the left of the Church is a lift down to the gift shop and cafeteria. There are also stairs.

Plenty of lightning and thunder this evening west of Port Elizabeth.

Two pictures. The first is with the 2,5 Optic, The second is with Portrait mode. Note: 2,5 Optic – background is sharp; Portrait mode – background is blurred.
