The Winter Garden
Below are some flowers which were growing in the same garden before winter Resting now, these beautiful promises of life renewed will burst through in Spring. As day follows night so spring follows winter. The darkness of Good Friday was followed by the blazing white light of Easter day. To God be the glory.

I guarantee that if you don’t know about the Golden Ratio, when you learn about it you will think about it and remember it for the rest of your life. You will want to tell others about it.

1. Look at this sequence of numbers: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, 987
2. Get out your calculator,
3. Notice that each number is the sum of the two preceding it. i.e. 0+1=1, 1+1=2, 2+1=3, 3+2=5 and so on….
4. Notice that if you divide any number by its preceding number you get 1.6*
Do we trust God and at the same time have many unanswered questions about Him and how He works? Leslie Weatherhead offers us some very sensible advice: Leave those questions in a box marked: “Awaiting Further Light.”
Sensible advice indeed, for “now we see through a glass darkly….” (1 Cor. 13,12)

St. Patrick’s Estate is high on a hill overlooking Manly in Australia. On the Estate is a small green field and some buildings overlooked by a statue of the Holy Mother. You stand there. You are reduced to silence. And so you should be for the buildings are “Bear Cottage”, a children’s Hospice. The only one is New South Wales and only one of three in Australia.
There is a door
A door that lovingly opens.
It whispers "There is more,
Much more."
As choirs from the trees at dawn
Their eternal paeans sing.
