Reminds me of the debates we used to have about the respective gualities and attributes of the Mercedes and the Jaguar. My recollection is that you favoured Mercedes while I was a Jaguar fan (or was it the other way around?). This would definitely have been one the models we talked about. I think that was also the model I travelled in from Bulawayo to Cape Town with the guy with the Grammy foot – his name escapes me now. I probably told you about us almost colliding with a petrol tanker at a speed of 100 mph. One of those events in life that could have changed or – in this case – ended one’s life, of which I have had quite a few, probably more than 9.
